Mountain bike Hagiang loop

The Hagiang loop mountain bike is dream of mountain biking ,a crucible of adrenaline and awe-inspiring landscapes. This epic journey through northern Vietnam is a test of endurance,skill, and a profound appreciation for nature’s raw beauty.

The ride begins in Ha Giang, a province steeped in history and culture. From here you’ll plunge into a world of towering limestone peaks, terraced rice fields that shimmer like emerald steps, and remote Hmong and Dao villages. The Ma Pi Leng Pass, a hairpin-laden marvel carved into the mountainside, is a highlight, offering breathtaking vistas at every turn,and the rhythm of life shifts to a slower pace.

As you venture into Cao Bang, the terrain transforms, Lush jungles replace the arid highlands, Lush jungles replace the arid highlands. The journey is as much about the people as it is about the places. You’ll encounter ethnic minorities with warm smiles and a deep connection to the land.

Day 1: Ha noi- Ha Giang ( cycling 40km )

Meet in hotel at 7:00 Am, transfer to Ha Giang by car ( 260km ). After lunch time riding 40km .

Overnight in Hotel in Ha Giang

Day2:  Ha Giang to Quan Ba -Yen Minh : 62 km

We cycle uphill to Quan Ba for the first route before a descent of around 10km and then relatively flat terrain for the next 10km. It’s a challenging up and down terrain to an altitude of 1.025m before we make a final descent for the last 15km into Yen Minh.

Day3: Yen Minh- Meo Vac : 68 km

Today we cycle on semi-surfaced quiet roads as we undertake a challenging uphill ride out of dense cedar forest onto the rocky Dong Van plateau. A registered UNESCO Global Geopark, 80% of the terrain is covered by rock and it is said to contain fossils from 400-600million years ago.

Day4: Meo Vac to Bao Lac: 65km

Today we follow a remote mountain road to Bao Lac. After a 5km uphill cycle we make a 20km descent the follow a fairly flat road for the next 10km. The surrounding landscape with predominantly limestone formations is a surreal vista of peaks, troughs, towers and caves.

Day5 : Bao Lac – Bao Lam

Mountain bike to Bao Lam. Overnight in Bao Lam hotel

Day6: Bao Lam riding – Hanoi

in the morning after breakfast group will cycling out of the city (5 km). Then off road cycling through basically flat country side for some 35 km. Finish and transfer back to Hanoi ( 6 hours ) . End of service in your hotel in Hanoi.
