Moc Chau self-guide mountain bike

This tour offers real  challenging  all mountain bike, some technical on offroad riding , hard climb on day1 and day2. A wonderful opportunity to experience the traditional and varied lifestyles of the people of this spectacular country. Only 4 days tour but have off-road, single track and asphalt pave biking.

Day 1: HaNoi  – Mai Chau (57 km) (Meal:  D)

Transfer to Hoa binh – Cao Phong . Start riding ,It’s a fascinating drive past many minority villages as we climb onto a higher plateau. We ride pass coffee and tea plantations before arriving in the  Baixang for lunch. Afternoon continue cycling to  MaiChau village. Overnight  home stay in Maichau of Thai minority people

Day 2: Mai Chau- Mocchau. (+- 60km ) (Meal: B)

 After breakfast riding 16 km  to Baixang then continue in the back road to  MocChau  withour car stand by.  ( +-40 km off road, car track ), making this a day not to be forgotten. We cycle past rice fields. There are two hard climbs today the first starts after 17 km with a 3 km ascent but the second, and most challenging comes at the end of this stunning day, with an 15 km strength-sapping climb. We finish the day with a stunning descend on road to Moc Chau hotel.

Dinner and overnight in Hotel

Day 3: Moc Chau- Maichau  (+- 65km ) (Meal: B,D)

 We start driving from Hotel with 10 km from Moc Chau to HuaTat pass. Then we cycling down hill on the jeep track , single track ( +- 45km)  , one of the most beautiful terrace rice field in Vietnam. After a local lunch take to the bikes and ride along a mix of dirt tracks and tarmac trails through Thai village and across rice paddies . Overnight in MaiChau Homestay

Day 4: MaiChau – PuLuong (+- 50km ) Meal: B, D)

After breakfast riding to Co Luong then continue in the back road to  Pho Doan withour car stand by,making this a day not to be forgotten. We cycle past rice fields and bananas plantations as we pass through small minority villages of Muong and Thai. There are two hard climbs today the first starts after 1 km with a 3 km ascent but the second, and most challenging comes at the end of this stunning day, with an 5 km strength-sapping climb. We finish the day with a stunning descend on a winding trail  into Hieu village.

Day 5: Hieu villages – Lung Van- Son villages (- 50km ) (Meal: B)

We cycling down hill on the single track ( +- 15km)  to Pho Doan, one of the most beautiful terrace rice field in Vietnam. After a local lunch take to the bikes and ride along a mix of dirt tracks and tarmac trails through Thai village and across rice paddies . The biking follows a river gradually upstream, though the ride appears flat. Driving to Hanoi, end of service in Hotel in Hanoi.
