7-Day Hagiang Loop Cycling Adventure Itinerary
Night 1: Hanoi- night train
Meet in hotel, transfer to train station at 20h30. Take overnight train to Lao Kai. Sleep on train.
Day 1: Lao Cai- Ha Giang ( cycling 90km )
Arrival Lao cai around 6:00 Am , after breakfast transfer to 60km then we start cycling to Ha giang . Overnight in Ha Giang. ( 7-8hours cycling, 2/5 hard climb ). ( B )
Day 2: Hà Giang – Quan Ba (55km)
Begin your adventure from Hà Giang city, pedaling through the stunning Heaven’s Gate Pass into Quan Ba. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Twin Mountains and explore local villages.
Day 3: Quan Ba – Dong Van (80km)
Ride along scenic, winding roads surrounded by lush forests and karst mountains. Experience authentic village life with an overnight stay in a traditional homestay.
Day 4:Dong Van- Meo Vac (80km)
Cycle deeper into the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, passing through breathtaking landscapes and historical sites such as the Hmong King’s Palace.
Day 5: Meo Vac- Du Gia(45km)
Challenge yourself with the legendary Mã Pí Lèng Pass, often called the most stunning road in Vietnam. Marvel at panoramic views of the Nho Que River before descending into Du Gia.
Day 6: Du Gia- Ha Giang(65km)
Ride through remote villages and peaceful valleys, stopping for cultural interactions and experiencing the authentic beauty of Hà Giang’s countryside.
Day 7: Ha Giang- Hanoi (60km)
Enjoy a scenic return route with stops at hidden waterfalls and ethnic markets. Celebrate your adventure with a lunch before driving back to Hanoi city.
